3d Art is 2-dimensional artwork that gives you a 3-dimensional optical illusion from a certain perspective. It can be very breathtaking, realistic and at the same time captivating once you get the angle correct.  We visited a 3d Art Exhibit in Shanghai during July 2012.  3d art is very interactive when you have a camera!  As you can see in the pictures below, when pictures are taken through a camera lens, we become part of the painting and the illusionary 2-dimensional paintings appear very much 3-dimensional!  🙂
